The Musical Theatre department at the Scripps Performing Arts Academy provides an unforgettable performance experience for all children, those pursuing a career on Broadway, right down to those who just like to dance and sing for their friends and family.
The Musical Theatre Department has GREAT things planned for the 2009-2010 school year for students ages 5 1/2 to 18!
Each workshop culminates in a production in our Black Box Theatre complete with lights, curtains, and costumes.
Musical Theatre mainstage productions are longer and require a longer commitment, but culminate in a performance at the SRHS Theater!
Musical Theatre classes are NOT dance classes and students will be learning choreography, not dance technique in class.
All Musical Theatre students should be enrolled in a dance class.
