  • The Academy Summer Intensive this year provided a wonderful training program, with guest teachers Jennifer Hooper, soloist with Texas Ballet Theater and former SPAA student and Lili Griffiths, former principal at the Royal Ballet, London and teacher at SPAA.  The students grew a great deal in both their approach to classwork and technical proficiency.
  • We extend a warm welcome home to Rachel, Rachael, and Leticia who returned home from National Summer Intensive programs with Lines Ballet, The Rock School, and American Ballet Theater.  And a special congratulations to Rachael, who was offered a scholarship to attend the Rock School year-round! Way to go Rachael!
  • Musical Theater Summer Camp students have had a fabulous time working on and performing a themed show at the end of each week.  Camps this year included Hannah Montana, High School Musical, American Girl and More!
  • Merit Scholarship Auditions will be held for High School Students in September.  Contact Miss Miah or check out the flyer for more information.
  • Pas de Deux class will resume Tuesday September 2 at 7:30 pm.  All intermediate to advanced male dancers, age 15 and older attending pas de deux class are more than welcome to attend technique class from 6:00-7:30 pm Free of Charge!
  • This 2008-09 Season marks our 20th Season in San Diego!  This year's program will include our annual Youth Nutcracker, an American Girl Fashion Show, and two Spring productions TBA!
